David began working for Trades Unions and their Members in 1999. David works in the Employment Rights Department with a mixed caseload of employment matters on behalf of Trades Union Members and private clients. David has successfully handled varied employment cases, including sexual discrimination, Equal Pay, disability discrimination, racial discrimination, unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal, deductions from wages, protective awards and employment status cases. In relation to unfair dismissals, David has successfully handled specialised cases involving trade union reasons, health and safety grounds, the assertion of statutory rights, such as holiday entitlement under the Working Time Regulations 1998, and constructive dismissals. He has also delivered talks to Union Officers and members on a wide variety of Employment Law topics.
